Our Hire Bikes & Pricing
At our hire centre based in Grizedale Forest we have a few different mountain bikes available for hire including standard hardtails, full suspension bikes, and electric bikes (hardtail or full suspension) as well as kids bikes and trailers.
Standard bikes can be hired for 3 hours or anything over this is classed as a full day. Electric bikes are slightly different as the hire gives you the duration of the battery for the day. If using the modes economically this can generally last the whole day but the battery will drain quicker if only the higher modes are used.
All collections must be between 9:30am and 1pm (summer time) all returns must be back by 4pm (summer time) This allows us to clean, check and recharge all our bikes before the next wave of hires the following day.
We advise booking in advance to guarantee a bike, however you can risk just turning up on the day to see what we have left. The last slot for hiring bikes is 1pm if you are just running the gauntlet of seeing if we've anything left.
The majority of our hire bikes are from Specialized, Norco and Whyte.
