Get out, get riding and try something new. Our Demo Events give you the chance to test the latest bikes and kit from some of the biggest names in mountain biking, including Specialized, Santa Cruz, Forbidden and Transition.

Alongside our supplier demo days, we also host social events such as our Fox & Burgtec Social Evening and the Grizedale Funduro - bringing riders together for good times and plenty of riding.

12/9/26 Santa Cruz Demo day

Santa Cruz Demo Day 

On Saturday 12th September Santa Cruz will be joining us in the forest for a special day out in the woods!

With a mix of analogue bikes and e-bikes, the format of the day will be slightly different to our usual demo days. Whether you’re interested in the big-travel Nomad, the trail-focused Bronson, or want to settle the Bullit vs Vala debate for yourself, we’ve got you covered!

E-Bike Sessions – Bullit vs Vala

Our e-bike sessions will be guided morning and afternoon rides, with lunch in between.

You’ll get the chance to try one bike in the morning and a different bike in the afternoon, giving you the perfect opportunity to compare different models and see which one suits your riding best.

Analogue Bike Sessions

The analogue bike sessions will include a morning and afternoon ride, with lunch included. These rides will be self-guided, with our demo loop clearly waymarked so you can explore the trails at your own pace.

Just like the e-bike sessions, you’ll get to ride one bike in the morning and a different bike in the afternoon, giving you the chance to experience two different Santa Cruz models during the day.

Both e-bike and analogue bike sessions are £25 per person for the day, including lunch.

With a full range of Santa Cruz bikes available, you can compare different models back-to-back and find out which bike is right for you.

Please contact us with any enquiries then call the Grizedale store to book yourself in for any of our upcoming demo days. 

16 is the minimum age for participation on our demo days due to insurance reasons. Participants between 16-18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. 

When we get closer to the dates we will know exactly what bikes are available and organise with you which bikes you want to ride in the morning and afternoon.

We are working hard with our other brands and more events will be announced.

The details for each event will be announced a few weeks before so keep up to date on our social media channels.

7/3/26 Bosch Vs Brose Demo day 

This demo day will focus on what we think are 2 of the biggest hitting motor brands available, giving you a perfect opportunity to settle the question of which you prefer. 

Are you after the punchiness and powerful feeling Bosch to smash around the forest in no time at all. Or are you after the smoother, controlled feeling of the specialized that gets you round faster than you realize. 

This day will take on our normal format of a guided morning ride then the included lunch and then an afternoon ride. 

This event is filling up quick we have one group full and may open a second group that would allow for up to 6 more riders. If you are interested please register email us to notify us, if we get enough interest we will open a second group. Thank you to all that have already joined us!

 

28/4/26 Specialized Demo Day 

Specialized will be joining us in the forest for the an afternoon with an exciting line up of their new e-bikes ready for you to put to the test!

There will be one big ride from 3pm to 6pm and then a meal afterwards for just £25.

Specialized will be joining us with both the new Levo R's and the Levo trails.

17/5/26 Grizedale Funduro

It's not a demo day but we may have some demo bikes available on the Saturday, this is TBD. But if you've never raced between tape, have some young ones who want to get out and rip or have raced before and want a fun weekend. The funduro might be right up your street! The vibes were immaculate last year and we hope to continue the good times this year with the second event. Keep an eye out on instagram for more updates closer to the time for this event.

 

20/6/26 Forbidden Demo Day

Forbidden will be joining us in the forest with some of their e-bikes which is the first chance we've had to demo them here in the UK. So we're super excited to have a go on their bikes running the Avinox motor platform.

This day will take on our normal format of a guided morning ride then the included lunch and then an afternoon ride all priced at £25.

14/7/26 Fox & Burgtec free evening community ride 

The fox and Burgtec night has been running for a few years and we love hosting it. The evening is our way of saying thank you to the biking community. 

It's a free event that includes a bunch of rides for varying abilities, free food from the wonderful Cafe Ambio here in the forest and entries to a raffle with some great prizes! We hope you can make it to come ride with us!

 

15/8/26 Specialized Demo day

Specialized will be joining us in the forest and joining forces with our resident demo fleet for a day out in the woods. 

This day will take on our normal format of a guided morning ride then the included lunch and then an afternoon ride priced at £25. This means you can try the big travel Levo Evo against the Levo trail or even the lighter Levo R.
