About Biketreks Grizedale

Located in the heart of Grizedale Forest, Biketreks Grizedale is the only bike hire centre in the forest and the perfect base for exploring one of the Lake District's premier mountain biking destinations.

Since taking over the bike hire operation in 2020, we've transformed the site into a welcoming hub for riders of all ages and abilities. Our purpose-built hire centre, fully stocked bike shop, and professional workshop are all designed to make your visit to Grizedale as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible.

Bike Hire

Our hire fleet offers quality mountain bikes for riders of all abilities, with direct access to Grizedale's extensive network of waymarked trails. Once you've checked in, our team will ensure your bike is correctly set up and take you through everything you need to know before you head out onto the trails.

With free trail maps and local knowledge on hand, we'll help you find the perfect route, whether you're looking for a gentle family ride or an adrenaline-filled day on the bike.

Workshop

Our fully equipped workshop keeps riders rolling throughout the year. From routine servicing and suspension work to diagnostics, puncture repairs and emergency fixes, our experienced mechanics are here to get you back on the trails as quickly as possible.

We carry a wide range of replacement parts and workshop essentials, allowing us to complete many repairs on-site without unnecessary delays.

Shop

Our shop is packed with everything you need for your next ride. We stock an extensive range of mountain bikes from leading brands including Specialized, Santa Cruz, Transition, Forbidden and Norco, alongside a carefully selected range of components, accessories and riding essentials.

You'll also find clothing, helmets, protection, footwear and riding gear from Fox. Whether you're replacing a worn-out component or treating yourself to a new riding kit, we've got you covered.
